چکیده
PD/CC@SiO 2 core–shell nanoparticles (PD: perylene dye, CC: cholecalciferol/vitamine D 3 ) show high colloidal stability in water, intense emission from red to yellow with quantum yields near unity, and excellent photostability.

Thionated perylene diimides with intense absorbance in the near-IR.
A synthetic strategy involving a combination of tetra-thionation and amine substitution in the bay region of a perylene diimide (PDI) leads to remarkable examples of neutral PDIs with intense absorption maxima in the near infrared. Generation of the corresponding monoanions red shifts the absorption profile to give short-wavelength infrared bands.
متن کاملIntense fluorescence of Au20.
Ligand-protected Au clusters are non-bleaching fluorescence markers in bio- and medical applications. Here we show that their fluorescence can be an intrinsic property of the Au cluster itself. We find a very intense and sharp fluorescence peak located at λ=739.2 nm (1.68 eV) for Au20 clusters in a Ne matrix held at 6 K. The fluorescence reflects the Highest Occupied Molecular Orbital-Lowest Un...

متن کاملDipyrrolylquinoxaline difluoroborates with intense red solid-state fluorescence.
A set of organic fluorescent dyes of dipyrrolylquinoxalines (PQs ) and their BF2 complexes (BPQs ) were synthesized from commercial reagents, and were characterized by their X-ray structural analysis, and optical and electrochemical properties. BPQs showed intense broad absorption in the visible region in the solution-state. In comparison with that of PQs , there is an over 110 nm red-shift of ...
متن کاملCompartmental Analysis Approach to Fluorescence Anisotropy: Perylene in Viscous Solvents
The fluorescence and polarization anisotropy decays of perylene in viscous solvents are investigated at several temperatures between -20 and 35 OC by using the technique of multifrequency phase and modulation fluorometry. The anisotropy decay data are globally analyzed over all temperatures studied and fit directly to physical quantities by using a compartmental model. We present a generalized ...
